Repair of Sludge Ponds

Licence Condition
Testing conducted in December 2023 confirmed that both sludge ponds at the premises were leaking. The licensee has implemented temporary measures to repair the one of the sludge ponds and has emptied the other pond. The EPA requires the licensee to: Propose appropriate measures to permanently repair the sludge ponds and provide a schedule of works, including timeframes by Friday 17 May 2024. Permanently repair sludge ponds by Monday 30 September 2024 and submit a completion report detailing works completed, including an integrity assessment of the sludge ponds. The schedule of works and completion report must be provided to the EPA by email to info@epa.nsw.gov.au.
